Take the opportunity and build a new life in Sweden with a thriving company. We offer our campsite for sale in a beautiful location in southern Sweden, unique because of its own wide and child-friendly sandy beach. Breviks campsite is located west of Lake Vättern in the municipality of Karlsborg.
Location
The campsite is located in the Skaraborg sub-province, between the two largest lakes Vänern and Vättern. The area offers several sights that have their origins in a rich cultural-historical heritage. This makes the campsite a good overnight location for both nature and culture lovers. Moreover, Breviks campsite is centrally located along road 195 between the two tourist places Hjo and Karlsborg.
Guests experience an overwhelming feeling of tranquility and a breathtaking view of the Vättern. It is Sweden's second largest lake and offers a wide variety of water sports activities such as swimming, sailing, surfing and stand-up paddleboarding. Not to forget, the Vättern has a rich fish stock which makes it popular for both locals and tourists. In August/September it is also allowed to fish for lobsters.
The village of Mölltorp is 6 kilometers away with a supermarket, pizzeria, nursery school and primary school. Hjo and Karlsborg, both 17 kilometers away, have a health center, pharmacy and secondary school.
Things to do in the area
From Brevik's campsite there are many different options for going out with crowd-pullers such as the Göta Canal, the Tiveden national park and the Skara Sommarland water amusement park.
Hjo is one of Sweden's three so-called wooden towns with a very interesting building history. The annual craft fair in Hjo attracts many visitors and this guarantees overnight stays at the campsite. The Göta Canal ends in the Vättern via Karlsborg and with its fortress the historic city is a pleasant tourist destination during the summer months.
You can explore the area on foot directly from the campsite on two beautiful hiking trails of 8 and 9 kilometers respectively. There is an 18-hole golf course just 1 kilometer from the campsite. In the nearby village of Brevik, 1 kilometer away, there is a garden café that is open in summer.
The camping
The area of the campsite is approximately 5 hectares, including 2 wooded areas. There are a total of 91 numbered camping pitches, 87 of which have electricity. 55 pitches are close to the lake, the remaining pitches a little further away. The camping site consists of a lawn. A separate, large field offers space for tents. There are also 6 camper pitches with electricity and gravel surfaces. We have approximately 20 seasonal guests every year. The campsite is open from April to September.
The campsite has 20 mobile homes, built from 2019 onwards. These are owned by guests, but we rent out the gravel-paved pitches to them.

We have invested a lot in the campsite during our 11 years as owners. No major investments are therefore necessary for the coming years. For example, we have invested in a service building (2020), a wastewater treatment plant (2019) and increased the number of camping pitches (2022).
We are convinced of the potential to continue the positive development that we have initiated. For example, the zoning plan offers the possibility of expansion with more camping pitches, 5 mobile homes and the construction of an additional service building of 300 m2.
We owners are a married couple of 70+ with one of our children. We are selling the campsite for personal reasons. We are willing to help during the start-up phase.
