Beautiful, spacious and green campsite "Quinta Chave Grande" Portugal Rua do Barreiro, nº 462, Casfreires, 3560-043 Ferreira de Aves Portugal

We have managed this campsite for 10 seasons with great pleasure and enthusiasm, see also the reactions on www.zoover.com. But we are now both 67+ and life on the campsite has become too hard for us, so we have decided to put our campsite up for sale and are looking for enthusiastic successors.
We have invested a lot in this campsite in recent years and the campsite has therefore improved considerably in recent years. There is a new toilet block (also for people with a disability), new electricity connections throughout the campsite, adjustments to the swimming pool (including granite tiling), a new terrace at the bar and much more.
The campsite is very spacious, almost 9 hectares in size and there are more than 100 very spacious camping pitches.
The campsite has a house (from the balcony you have a magnificent view over the beautiful green valley), with an extra apartment if necessary. for the rental (1st floor). On the ground floor there is a bar, a reception and a terrace (also with a beautiful view over the green valley).
There are also 3 toilet blocks, a large salt water swimming pool 20m x 10m, a tennis court, boules courts, granite table tennis table, certified playground, several storage sheds and on a separate piece of land in the woods, across the road we have our own water source, so that we always have delicious clean drinking water.
The campsite is beautifully situated in a beautiful green valley. The camping pitches are very spacious and located on the terraces (grass pitches everywhere). The campsite is located on 9 hectares of sunny terraced slopes, partly covered with grape, hazelnut, apple, cherry and fig trees. All these different trees provide plenty of shady spots. A small clear stream babbles through the green valley.
There is also a very large hiking area, through the beautiful unspoilt nature. There are 8 marked walks from the campsite, these walks have been set out by ourselves and are checked every year.
In the area you will find the typical old Portuguese villages, in these surrounding villages there are several very nice restaurants where you can still enjoy typical Portuguese food for a friendly price.
Various exclusive excursions can be organized from the campsite, including to the beautiful Port area, along the river Douro. In clear weather, the beautiful natural park "Serra da Estrela" (altitude 2000m) can be admired from the campsite.
The provincial capital Viseu is located 30 km from the campsite, a visit to this city is definitely worth it, because of its beautiful old center, the cathedral, museums, but also to visit the great new shopping centers. Furthermore, 110 km of new beautiful motorway will take you to the beaches at Aveiro. And for the people who want to come by plane, Porto airport is 150 km from our campsite. Nowadays you can fly very cheaply from Amsterdam (with Transavia.com or TAP) to Porto and also from Eindhoven or Weeze (just across the border at Nijmegen), with Ryanair, you can fly very cheaply to Porto.
