Halfway between Oslo and Trondheim you will find Koppang Camping & Hytter. This campsite is located in a natural environment on the banks of the Glomma River, the longest river in Norway. The area is characterized by vast forests, lakes, mountains and plateaus and is ideal for short and long walks, mountain biking and of course fishing. The campsite is a popular location for nature lovers. Moose and beaver safaris are regularly organized from the campsite and a popular weekly fly fishing course takes place every year.

The Glomma is known as a river with a lot of fish and offers excellent opportunities for anglers.
In particular, the section between Atna in the north and Hovda in the south – a strip of about 75 kilometres – offers very good conditions for spin and fly fishermen. This area is so popular that national and international fly fishing championships are regularly held here. Koppang Camping is located in the middle of this area and receives many enthusiastic and returning anglers every year.

The campsite has been around for over 50 years and is a good and secure source of income with interesting turnover-increasing opportunities.
The campsite is located just 3 kilometers from the village of Koppang. Here you will find supermarkets, bank, gas station, restaurant, pizzeria, garage, various other shops, school, library, sports hall, dentist, medical facilities etc.

Camping pitches:
Koppang Camping has 65 camping pitches with electricity and about 20 without. The pitches are spread over three levels, including a large field directly on the river. The layout is spacious and green so that the camper feels like he is in a park. At this campsite there are no rows of concrete slabs or campers standing close together.

Huts:
In addition to camping sites, there are 20 cabins available;
• 4 tractor cabins for 2 to 3 persons,
• 5 cabins suitable for 4 persons
• 11 cabins for 4 persons with hot/cold running water, living area with kitchenette, separate bedroom, bathroom, toilet and TV.
All cabins have parking in front of or next to the cabin and have grass or a spacious veranda with picnic table in front of the cabin.

Facilities:
• Grill hut with cast iron grill pan on tripod
• Playground with a large trampoline
• Four water points and a camper service point for discharging grey/black water and filling drinking water.

Sanitary:
The sanitary building is spacious and equipped with:
• Kitchen space
• Washing and drying room
• Disabled bathroom / baby changing room
• Separate ladies and gentlemen sections with showers, sinks and toilets
• Flushing area for chemical toilet
• Storage space for rental mountain bikes and canoe accessories such as life jackets and paddles.

Reception/lounge/kiosk:
The reception building has a spacious living area with tables and chairs for over 20 people, a kiosk area that is now used as a shop that can be converted into a kitchen so that meals can be prepared for guests. Also a space for storing linen and cleaning products.

Residence:
Directly at the reception building is the home for owner or manager. This consists of entrance, basement with bathroom, toilet, laundry room, work/renovation room and 3 bedrooms. The ground floor offers space for kitchen (2022), toilet, bathroom, living room with access to spacious veranda and garden, 1 bedroom. The basement is also accessible from outside.
The house has a spacious double garage with electric segment door.

Storage and workspace:
For storage of equipment such as tractors, trailers, snow blowers or tools, there is a steel shed (12 × 6 × 3 meters) with sliding doors.

Optional:
Next to the campsite there is a beautiful and spacious house for sale. This house has been completely renovated and has a spacious living room and kitchen, 5 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 toilets, garage and storage, spacious garden with stabbur. This house is currently rented as a holiday home.
