The village of Forrières (municipality of Nassogne) is located in the nature reserve Famenne, on the border with the nature reserve Fagne, in the Condroz on the border with the Ardennes, in the province of Namur on the border with the province of Luxembourg and on the river Lhomme on the border with the river Lesse.
In short, an area that is infinitely beautiful and infinitely versatile.
The forests are the permanent habitat for roe deer, boar, deer and other game. Special bird species breed along the fish-rich rivers.
Five kilometers away, in the Abbey of Notre Dame de Saint-Rémy in Rochefort, Cistercian monks brew the Trappist beer Rochefort.
Camping Pré du Blason is located in the middle of greenery, on the river De Lhomme.
The site, which covers more than 2.6 hectares, previously had an environmental permit (unique permit) for 145 pitches, of which 90 were intended as permanent annual pitches.
A large part of the site falls within a flood zone, which means that the number of permanent pitches must be significantly reduced.
In that context, it is good to report that an application was submitted this year for the redevelopment of the site into a campsite with 72 transient pitches and 26 seasonal pitches, with conditional approval from the municipality and the SPW.

This concerns the private sale of the real estate (land, house, cafeteria, garden sheds, 2 sanitary blocks), including all buildings, movable property still present and previous permits and inspection certificates.
NOTE: This campsite is sold without valid certificates and permits. To reopen the campsite, you - as the new owner - must make it your personal matter and at your own expense to obtain the fire safety certificate and the environmental permit.

Facilities and details :
The camping site is beautiful and spacious. Both the permanent and the hikers' pitches are all enclosed by a hedge. The pitches are between 80 m² and 240 (!!) m².
All permanent pitches had a 10A power connection and all transient pitches had a 6A power connection.
For the real nature lovers, there are a number of passer-by places on the river, where you can swim in the summer.
All land is completely in a recreation zone.
The buildings and technical installations are in need of a makeover.
An advantage is that this campsite already has a new water purification installation for 240EH, which has already largely been constructed.
