Camping de la Pelouse is located in the heart of the Lorraine Regional Park in eastern France.

The campsite is located just outside the village of Jaulny, in the middle of nature. Right next to the 12th century castle of Jaulny. Although the campsite is in a rural area, there are a number of small shops nearby to cater for the needs of customers. For example, three kilometres away, in the village of Thiaucourt, there is a grocery store, a petrol station, a chemist, a doctor's surgery, a post office and a bank.

As for the neighbouring towns, Jaulny is 20 km from Pont à Mousson, 30 km from Metz, 50 km from Nancy and Verdun. And 10 km from Chambley, where the world ballooning championships are held.
