In 1999 we started our adventure by buying this campsite. After 26 years it is time to stop. All these 26 years we have lived exclusively from the income of the campsite from approx. 1 May to approx. 15 September. So 5 months of work and 7 months off to do what you want. The campsite is neat and tidy and everything works orderly. Dalen has become well known for tourists in the last 20 years. It is a prosperous municipality with its own hydroelectric power station. Dalen is not big, but offers everything you need. 2 x Supermarkets, large health centre, childcare, primary and secondary schools and various shops etc.

There is a complete restaurant on the campsite, which we currently only use as a canteen/sitting area, but you can easily turn this into a dining facility, which of course immediately increases turnover.
The campsite has:
6 x well-maintained cabins. (see website)
1 x building (approx. 60 x 8 m) containing 16 bedrooms, toilets, sitting room, dining room, kitchen.
1 x building (approx. 60 x 8 m) with a washing-up area, staff quarters (not in use, as we do everything ourselves) and a spacious manager's house with 6 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen and private garden and a small apartment which we used for our in-laws.
Large new garage/workshop.
1 x building (approx. 60 x 8 m) containing all sanitary facilities, washing machines, large reception, restaurant/sitting room with complete kitchen and a small apartment.
1 x stone sanitary building which we have not used for 4-5 years as it needs to be renovated first. We don't need this, but it can be put back into use. We don't have permanent pitches because we didn't want this.
In recent years the turnover has been approximately Nok. 3,000,000 (turnover only from the summer months)

The campsite is offered complete with all inventory and is ready for a new enthusiastic family. With a good imagination, a right work attitude and 2 right hands this is something very beautiful.

FYI: Banks are very difficult with financing. As far as I understand, financing is possible up to a maximum of Euro 200,000 to 300,000. But this depends on many factors that I do not know.
It is always best to have no or a small financing, that gives freedom and no pressure. It is also possible to buy this with 2 couples, one does everything that has to do with the restaurant etc. and the other does everything with the campsite itself. This makes it financially easier and together you are stronger. It is an idea.

We don't do constructions, it's just a matter of putting the money where the mouth is.
