Grindafjord is located in a region with many possibilities. The campsite is very centrally located; 13 km from Haugesund, 78 km from Stavanger and 137 km from Bergen. A short distance from the campsite you will find mountains as well as fjords, waterfalls and glaciers. This area is also called the birthplace of Norway or the homeland of the Viking Kings. Grindafjord Holiday Center is a spacious campsite of 314,000 m2 in total. The current camping area is 139,000m2. The remaining plot has already been approved for development into camping grounds, service facilities, cabins and marina.
In short: considerable growth opportunities and sufficient land for further expansion for the time being.
Grindafjord Holiday Center was chosen in 2008 as one of Norway's top campsites.
This campsite is a real family campsite that is open all year round. Grindafjord Holiday Center is located in a very beautiful location right on the coast in a beautiful Norwegian nature.
The holiday center consists of:
• 2 sanitary buildings;
• 13 cabins with shower and toilet;
• 6 cabins without shower and toilet;
• 305 rented permanent pitches (there are currently waiting lists);
• 70 camping pitches with or without electricity, of which 30 motorhome pitches with electricity;
• Wide range of activities including free use of canoes and rowing boats;
• Café, open during high season.
• Own camping shop.
