Peaceful riverside site in the heart of the Loire valley. 1.5 km from the stunning chateau Chenonceau. 12 km from Amboise and Leonardo Da Vinci’s home. A popular and attractive region, rural but not isolated, good for long and short stays. Established client base (mainly Dutch & English couples and families with young children) with repeat visitors and new clients each year.
Two wash blocks, pool and paddling pool, bar/restaurant, good play ground for children. Excellent owner’s accommodation – lots of possibilities including chambre d’hotes or accommodation for two families. The campsite figures in all the major European guidebooks. Potential for further development with three big outbuildings (one currently used as winter caravan storage). The campsite is in good condition and well-maintained.
Good facilities in the local area – primary school 2 km, secondary school 7 km. Tours, a busy university city with shops, hospital and TGV station: 30 km. Links to A10 motorway within 7 km. Een populaire en aantrekkelijke regio, landelijk maar niet geïsoleerd, goed voor lange en korte verblijven. Huidige klantenkring (voornamelijk Nederlandse & Engelse paren en gezinnen met jonge kinderen) met terugkerende bezoekers en elk jaar nieuwe klanten.
Twee toiletgebouwen, zwembad en peuterbad, een bar/restaurant en een speeltuin voor kinderen. Uitstekende eigenaars accommodatie – veel mogelijkheden, waaronder chambre d’hotes of accommodatie voor twee gezinnen. De camping staat in alle grote Europese reisgidsen. Er is potentieel voor verdere ontwikkeling met drie grote bijgebouwen (momenteel gebruikt als winter caravanstalling). De camping is in goede staat en goed onderhouden.
Goede faciliteiten in de omgeving – de lagere school 2 km, middelbare school 7 km. Tours, een drukke universiteitsstad met winkels, ziekenhuis en TGV Station: 30 km. A10 binnen 7 km. Kortom, een gevestigde en drukke camping met veel potentieel voor de nieuwe eigenaar.
